On Sunflower Road Under the Sterling Sky
On Sunflower Road Under the Sterling Sky
I sung this song today-
On Sunflower Road under the Sterling Sky
Love and friendship
is amazing, and it won’t be easy
If love and friendship was easy,
love and friendship wouldn’t be amazing
If love and friendship’s worth it;
You won’t give up, If you give up;
You’re not worthy of love and friendship-
I seen a little bit of heaven today on facebook
How heaven would be, not how heaven would look
I seen my best friend from back in 1986
What heaven would be, from a few of his pix-
is to hear him laugh with his same ol’ grin
I have so many questions of what has been
I know he as well will have questions, and answers why
So I’ll be here On Sunflower Road under the Sterling Sky
I’ll tell him I have a love like a mountain view
I wont give up on the amazingness of her, and you
It wont be easy, oh no, it won’t be easy, believe me
Today I found what was lost down by rainbow’s lake
I have been missing you, and doing what life takes
I would hate to know the world has changed you
Because there has been enough in this life, and you?
When we reflect back it wont be easy for us, but we’ll try
So I’ll be here On Sunflower Road under the Sterling Sky
I just hope our friendship still has a bonding seal
There is a lot of science fiction that has became real
I believe one must live now before it is all to late
Some people believe in karma, and some in fate
I believe God’s shown me a little secret that God keeps
I believe God’s shown me a little harvest that God reeps
I can tell by the smile and the look in my best friends eyes
He’s on the other end of Sunflower Road under the Sterling Sky
I sung this song today-
On Sunflower Road under the Sterling Sky
Love and friendship is amazing,
and it won’t be easy
If love and friendship was easy,
love and friendship wouldn’t be amazing
If love and friendship’s worth it;
You won’t give up, If you give up;
You’re not worthy, of love and friendship-

Commentary:
This is a simple poem written on the grounds
of love and friendship, furthermore intuition.
Please read that intuition….
I knew if kept looking (26 years), and keeping faith,
and living the right way of life,
my dreams will come true.
Here’s a taste of heaven

John, I keep reading this over and over, seeing more and more within your words each time. This is a beautiful poem, filled with a poignancy and lingering sadness …. there is loss, and there is hope, and a wealth of love that permeates the sadness … Very well written, I love this. ~ Julie
